When and Where: Weekdays 6:00-7:00 a.m., Yoga Haven, 12 Forest Ct. in Bearden (near Goodwill and Carpe Librum)
This yoga intensive is open to all ability levels. Complete beginners are welcome – consider it your yoga “basic training.” Experienced yoga practitioners are also encouraged to attend, building a daily practice under the watchful eye of a qualified yoga teacher.
Classes include instruction in yoga safety, how to hold poses and flow from pose to pose, breathing techniques, basic meditation, and guided relaxation. Classes are designed around timeless and practical themes from the yoga tradition for extraordinary living.
Schedule:
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday: Moderate to Vigorous.
- Tuesday/Thursday: Gentle to Moderate.
If you are just beginning a regular exercise program, it is recommended you start with Tuesdays and Thursdays then build from there. You should have your doctor’s permission to engage in exercise.
