
The most demanding Kripalu Yoga class we offer, this experience begins with a centering and a dynamic posture flow. Extended holding of postures follow.
This class is very similar to the Moderate Kripalu class, only the asanas and pranayama practices are more intense. We regularly practice hand-balancing poses and active inversions. This class is not for beginners.
Is this class like power yoga? Yes and no. Yes in that it is challenging. No in that it is a non-dogmatic spiritual experience, where attention to breathing and meditation play major roles in the practice.
Prerequisites: Permission of the instructor is required to attend this class.
