You can now learn yoga while benefiting the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley (HSTV) in one of two classes:
“I love animals,” said Julie Morgan, the teacher of the two yoga programs. “Also, nonviolence is a foundation of yoga practice, so helping humans feel better in their bodies while donating to a no-kill animal adoption center really appeals to me.”
Morgan has a 200-hour yoga teacher certification in Sivananda Yoga, a classical yoga style.
Both programs will be held at Yoga Haven, 12 Forest Court in Knoxville’s Bearden area.
Fifty percent of proceeds will be donated to HSTV.
Limited space is available, so register now to build strength and flexibility… learn breathing, relaxation, and basic meditation techniques… all while helping the Humane Society continue no-kill animal adoptions and low-cost spay/neuter, vaccination, and microchip programs.
